Chess Club finisher

Connor completed his first year as a member of his school's Chess Club. To celebrate their year, the club held an ice cream social. Connor really enjoyed Chess Club, and at the end of the year, was promoted from a beginning player to an intermediate player. Way to go Connor! Chess Club is run by the grandfather of a student, and one of the other 2nd grade teachers is the adviser. Connor reports that he wants to join again in the fall when school starts. He really learned a lot as a first year Chess Club member!
