Lucas is 3

Thank heavens my parents are here to help me pull together a birthday for my 3-year-old boy...

For breakfast, Lucas requested pancakes with strawberries and whipped cream. Then my parents took Connor, Isabel and Lucas to a park, and then to McDonald's for lunch. Next up, an afternoon backyard swim party.

We had a pizza party dinner, and then had the dinosaur-themed cake that my mom made, which Lucas loved-

"Opening" his present, a pirate ship water play table. This is going to provide hours of summer fun, which is also a gift to me.
I think at first he didn't get the picture on the box-

But once it was opened and assembled, he was over the moon for it!

Lucas is such a tremendous addition to our family. He is beautiful, bright, fiercely independent, strong-willed, opinionated, lovable, creative, imaginative, determined, snuggly and full of life. He has always known exactly what he wants, and exactly how to achieve it. He loves pizza, dinosaurs, singing, books, trains, Elmo, Nursery, Legos, Cars, playing with his brother and sister, being with his family, his new baby brother, and going on adventures. We love our Lucas! Happy 3rd birthday!
