Minnesota Trip Day 4

We spent the day in Duluth and Two Harbors. We started at the Great Lakes Aquarium, which was really fun. There is a fun replica of the Great Lakes water system that the kids could play in. There were also many fish tanks, jellyfish, octopus, stingray, birds, a forest tree area, observation decks and more. The kids loved it.

Isabel and Grace, cute cousins who are the same age (only 5 days apart!), but clearly not the same size. :)

Then we went to visit my Grandma O'Neill, whom I adore, who lives in Superior, Wisconsin. Her house is always so warm and grandmotherly to me. I hadn't been there since my grandpa's funeral, and it was very emotional. We also saw my aunt, uncle and cousins.

Then we went to Enger Tower, the tallest point in Duluth. Great views of Duluth, the North Shore and Superior.

And then we went to Two Harbors, on the North Shore. My kids could throw rocks in the water for hours; they were in heaven. The water is freezing cold, so we didn't do more than dip our toes. But it was beautiful.
