My youngest brother Nate graduated from the University of Denver Law School over the weekend. My parents come out from Minnesota, my sister Kristina flew in from St. Louis, my brother JJ lives here- it was only my sister Lara who couldn't make it.
Kristina thought it would be fun to have a sibling/parent sleepover at Nate and Alli's place, so that's what we did! It was fun.
My parents drove in from Minnesota Friday afternoon and picked me up and we headed down to Denver. We spent Friday evening grilling (my brothers are big foodies and love to cook; they made us a great dinner). Then we swam/hot tubbed. So nice to have a night away from kids!
Saturday morning was the graduation. My nephew had the most adorable outfit for his graduation!
Kristina and I were worried the commencement speaker would be really long (it was Senator Michael Bennett), but we were thrilled when he wrapped up after only about 15 minutes! This was Kristina's text to our sister Lara during the speech-

Part of my family-
My parents took us out for a nice dinner that evening and then we walked around the 16th Street Mall. It was a perfect, beautiful evening. I tried my first raw oysters. Not bad!
