The kids think bowling is a rockin' good time; they seriously love it. There is cheering, laughing, hugging, jumping, clapping and general merriment. Connor decided this year to forgo the little ramp-thingy available for children and play like the big boys and girls, and actually did fairly well. Lucas stayed very engaged until the last frame or two. And Isabel thought the fact that her pink bowling ball matched her pink shirt was simply fabulous.
We had dinner at the brand-new Chick Fil-A that opened near us (cheer!) to cap off a grand evening.

What a great evening! Bowling is so much fun. Yay for Connor being a big guy!
what is it about kids & bowling? Lily still begs to go bowling with surprising frequency.
Your pictures are super cute. Love the shoe shot. :)
We also went bowling recently-love those wholesome family activities! What's this with getting the whole week of Thanksgiving off?? We used to get just Thurs and Fri. Addy had Wed-Fri off.
That sounds like a great tradition! Bowling is something I loved as a kid and I still love now. (even though I have not improved much!) Happy Thanksgiving Melissa! Enjoy all the fun memories this week!
What a fun tradition! Cute pictures, too :)
My kids love to bowl and love Chick-fil-A, it would have been a perfect night for them as well. Talk to you soon, have a great Thanksgiving.
Great tradition! I love how you captured Connor's shoe coming up as he released the ball.
Super fun. I adore that shoe picture. We have yet to take our kids bowling but you have inspired me to try and do it soon!
